Kaveh Farrokh’s Book cited by US Independent Book Publishers

Kaveh Farrokh’s book, “Shadows in the Desert: Ancient Persia at War” was recently awarded as the Best History Book of 2008 in London on October 31st, 2008 by the WAALM Society’s Persian Golden Lioness Awards

The next printing of Shadows in the Desert will feature the WAALM Persian Golden Lioness Award of “Best History Book” on its upcoming book jacket (on top right hand corner – white circle with Golden Lioness inset):

Farrokh was recently informed that his book was nominated as being among the top three history books of 2008 by the Independent Book Publishers Association in the US:
